of attention.

Craft trains the senses.
Presence unifies them.

Based in Cappadocia, where hands have shaped clay from the Kızılırmak for generations — and been shaped by it in return — this work begins with material, repetition, and time.

Attention is not demanded here.

It is practiced.

Make:Sense

Volume I : Chapter I

In this chapter of Make:Sense, we step into Abdulvahid Bukhoriy’s workshop in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, where he is dedicated to reviving a ceramic tradition lost for more than a century.

Through clay, fire, and rain, Abdulvahid reflects on creation as cultural responsibility, a source of healing, and a way of life.
